A 5 Star Guest House in Saxmundham, Suffolk

The Bray family would like to offer you a warm and friendly welcome to the Georgian Guest House. We are a 5 Star, award-winning guest house situated in the small market town of Saxmundham, Suffolk. This is an ideal place from which to discover the Suffolk Coastal area, including nearby towns Aldeburgh, Southwold, Snape and Iken. You can expect a warm welcome and an informal, relaxed atmosphere during your stay.

Parts of our house are certainly Georgian, however the original house dates back to the Tudor times. The Georgian Guest House was once the coach house of a much larger dwelling nearby. After WWII it was used as a school for many years. It was converted from a school into a guest house in 1999. The house now offers all modern amenities, whilst retaining the original character along with many of the features.
